Privacy policy

This describes what happens to information you give this website. It is written plainly and it is deliberately short, because this website does not do very much.

Draft — not legal advice

This is a plain-language draft written to describe how the site currently behaves. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and it is not a substitute for legal advice. Have it checked before relying on it, particularly before any payments are accepted through this site.

What is collected

  • Anything you type into a form on this site — name, email, phone if you give it, event details, and your message.
  • Newsletter sign-ups — your email address, and your first name if you provide one.
  • Standard web server logs — kept by the hosting provider, as on essentially every website.

What it is used for

Replying to you, quoting your job, and doing the work. Newsletter addresses are used to send occasional updates and nothing else.

Your information is not sold. It is not shared with anyone except the services needed to run the site and send email.

Where it is kept

Form submissions are stored in this website’s own database and emailed to vicandylsLLC@gmail.com. The site is hosted by a third-party web host, and email is handled by Google.

How long

Inquiries are kept as long as they are useful for the work and for records. Newsletter sign-ups are kept until you ask to be removed.

Your choices

Email vicandylsLLC@gmail.com to ask what is held about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. You will not be asked why.

Cookies

This site does not run advertising or analytics tracking at present. WordPress may set functional cookies if you leave a comment or log in. If analytics are added later, this page will be updated to say so.
