Wood and burning

Names, dates and illustrated scenes burned in by hand rather than printed on. Slow, and the sort of thing that gets kept.

Thread and fabric

Appliqué letters, embroidery hoops, and a quilt that’s been in progress a while. The slowest category and the one least likely to be rushed.

Vinyl, print and drinkware

The biggest and fastest category. Usually the punchline of somebody’s group chat, rendered in vinyl.

Beads, paint and clay

Perler beads, painting, stickers, pottery. The category that exists because not everything needs a reason.

Commissions

“Like the toy box but for a niece” or “like those tumblers but eleven of them” saves us both a lot of adjectives.
